Introduction

Hello! I am Pavak Paul. I'm a 2nd year student of Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College, trying to do B. Tech on CSE.

More About Me

Besides that, I'm a freaky Ubuntu user, having a great interest in Linux and open source. I also do Joomla! web designing, domain & hosting management in my free time.

My History:

Talking about history, I must mention, I was never very good at it. I'll try to mention some here. I was born on February 20, 1995 at Dinhata. Dinhata is also my home town. I actually read in 3 different primary schools, I did my high schooling in Dinhata High School. Talking about schools, I was never very good at academics.

I don't exactly remember when was I introduced to computers, but I got my own computer when I was 14, it came with some dual core processor, 1 GB RAM and had a pirated copy of Microsoft Windows XP installed in it. after 1 year, I was introduced to Ubuntu! Actually my neighbor was dying for virus in his windows computer, then he installed Ubuntu 9.10 in his computer. Then I saw Ubuntu and I noticed the compiz effects. I was so impressed that I couldn't resist me from installing it. Then I used it, I loved it and I loved it more and more.

A few months after that I had to stop using my computer for exam, and then my dark age started. For scoring a poor marks in my secondary exams, I was banned to use computer. It continued almost 2 and half years.

Meanwhile I did my higher secondary exam and scored even poorer result than the secondary exams. I had to drop academics for 1 year. Anyway I got a new Laptop, having intel core i5 CPU, 8 GB RAM and 2 GB graphics card. After that I made the custom Ubuntu operating system called Oikyo Linux.

The next year (2014) I got admitted to Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College for B. Tech, CSE. The previous year wasn't much interesting, but in 17th November I got the most exciting gift of my life! I got the new desktop. ( see the specs)

Anyways, now the story continues to the present time...
